GETTING RE-CONNECTED

My dad is having his reconnection surgery today.  Before, the doctors "installed" an ileostomy bag in/on my dad (if you don't know what that is & are curious, go here), so today they are taking that off and reconnecting his colon to its rightful place.  He's excited to be rid of the bag and feel normal again...whatever that means.  The surgery should take about 3 hours, but that's what they said last time and the surgery ended up taking 6 hours.  PRAY everything goes well!  He needs something to go right medically for once.  Something positive.
