There's something about a haircut that revitalizes the spirit. In my opinion, anyway. It almost feels like a fresh new beginning. A new you! It's almost as if, along with cutting off of the old, dry locks, the old, dry you gets cut off too. A feeling of levity and lightness (is that a word?) abound! There's a desire--nay an extreme urging--to fill out the full potential this new style, look, feeling requires and inspires! An opportunity arrises to cut off the pounds, stress, regrets, laziness, burdens, sins, or whatever may hinder your growth and move into a new time...much like how one's hair grows healthier and faster with trimming. It can be equated to a healthy trimming of oneself. A fresh new beginning. A new you!
I got my hair cut today. I like it.
