Faith for Pine Cones

All you need in life is a balloon that says "I love you" and a branch with pine cones tied to it. (rivne, ukraine 2005)

Faith Enough

The ice is thin enough for walkin’

The rope is worn enough to climb

My throat is dry enough for talkin’

The world is crumblin’ but I know why

The world is crumblin’ but I know why

The storm is wild enough for sailing

The bridge is weak enough to cross

This body frail enough for fighting

I’m home enough to know I’m lost

Home enough to know I’m lost

It’s just enough to be strong

In the broken places, In the broken places

It’s just enough to be strong

Should the world rely on faith tonight

The land unfit enough for planting

Barren enough to conceive

Poor enough to gain the treasure

Enough a cynic to believe

Enough a cynic to believe

Confused enough to know direction

The sun eclipsed enough to shine

Be still enough to finally tremble

And see enough to know I’m blind

And see enough to know I’m blind

Should the world rely on faith tonight

Jars of Clay

Who We Are Instead

I love this song.

These past few months have really been a time of busyness, stress, provision, growth, and revelation. I’ve learned a lot about myself, my family, my friends, my life, and the life God is leading me to. More important than anything I am growing...I’m growing closer and closer to the Father, who has shown His pure and undeniable glory to me constantly.

I feel secure in this time of insecurity. I feel calm in this time of chaos. I feel provided in this time of the unknown. I feel much love in this time of much uncertainty. It’s a beautiful thing. God is close, and I feel Him. I am in an emotional time of my life, man, but there is constant joy!

I've got some great stories to tell about the awesome things God has been doing in my life these past few months. I will share these in future posts. Right now, I should be in bed. THUS I am going.

Hey Brittney! I have two Xangas because one (austrianne) is geared more towards specific ministry stuff and the other (saffronanne) is more just for fun. I'll probably eventually consolidate into one, but for now I have the two. :)
